Job Description:
Trestle Management Group is a growing community management company providing unsurpassed community management services to all types of homeowner and community associations in the greater Phoenix area. We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Part-Time Gate Host for a large, gated community in the West Valley (North Peoria) Area. The Gate Host will be responsible for providing exemplary first point-of-contact, day-to-day support services to Trestle’s homeowner clients who reside within a gated Homeowners Association, homeowner guests and Association vendors. Superior client service, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills are required to ensure gate operations run smoothly and clients are consistently provided with a high standard of service.
Responsibilities:
1. Receive and manage homeowner, homeowner guest and vendor requests for access to the community providing accurate solutions with professional communication (both verbal and written) to support the Trestle Team.
2. Monitor entrances and exits, verify IDs and passes, and prevent unauthorized access to secure areas.
3. Greet and assist visitors and residents, provide directions, answer questions, and handle complaints.
4. Maintain logs of incoming and outgoing individuals and vehicles and prepare reports on incidents.
5. Operate gate locks, access control systems, and other security or administrative equipment.
6. Follow established procedures and training to respond to emergencies, such as fires or security breaches
7. Report any unusual activities or security issues to supervisors or appropriate authorities.
8. Patrol assigned areas to check for hazards, security violations, or other unsafe conditions.
9. Work closely and productively with the rest of the Trestle Team, specifically with the community managers and other team members as necessary.
10. Interface with and support internal team clients in a professional, supportive and positive manner
11. Maintain punctual attendance record and dedication in working with team members to ensure service goals are met
12. Maintenance of a positive attitude, patience, and tact, and commitment to superior client service, despite the occasional challenges inherit within this industry.
Qualifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Minimum one to two (2) years’ experience in a professional environment
· Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
· Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Vigilant observation skills to spot discrepancies and potential security risks
· Basic computer literacy for data entry, record-keeping, and operating modern access systems.
· High level of alertness and mental acuity to maintain awareness of the environment.
· Capacity to think critically and react appropriately to unexpected events.
· Ability to stand, walk, and work in various conditions, depending on the site.
· Ability and experience in deescalating volatile client interactions
· Ability to remain calm, professional, and courteous, even in high-pressure situations.
· Ability to work independently and as a strong member of a team

· Experience with a gate access system (ABDi) a plus
· Experience with a wide range of office software, including full Microsoft Office suite, phone system, etc.,
Additional Requirements:
- This position requires a dependable vehicle and a significant amount of driving.
- Need availability to include weekend hours between 6:00 pm and 10:00 pm
